Synopsis: In times of war, the most endangered species was man. Under the Nazis’ noses, about 300 people, mainly Jews, found shelter at the Warsaw Zoo during the Second World War. Of Animals and Men tells the amazing story of how the Zabinski family; the Warsaw zookeepers, helped rescue and hide Jews during these horrid times. Film will be dubbed in English and include a 12-minute clip of how the zoo looks like today, the zookeepers house, and zoo cages where the Jews were hidden. Additionally, there will be an interview with Teresa Zabinska (their daughter), which was not included in the documentary.
